CARE & MAINTENANCE

Care Instructions
Your timepiece is a complex precision instrument, housing hundreds of components within a very confined space and running continuously, day and night, under a wide range of external conditions. This mechanical operation inevitably results in a degree of wear and tear. However, through regular servicing — replacing worn components and re-lubricating the movement — this can be effectively managed. As with any precision instrument, ensuring optimal performance and long-term stability requires regular professional maintenance. Service intervals depend on actual usage.

Water Resistance
The watch case is fitted with multiple waterproof gaskets to achieve a high level of water resistance. However, external factors such as perspiration, chlorides or salt water, cosmetics, perfumes, or dust will gradually degrade the performance of these gaskets. As a result, water resistance is not permanent. To ensure optimal water resistance, regular inspection and maintenance are essential. The water resistance rating is indicated in the product specifications. The rating, expressed in meters, is a technical standard and does not represent the absolute depth to which the watch can be immersed. Never operate the crown or buttons when the watch is wet or submerged.

Leather
Our leather straps are crafted from premium hides of exceptional quality. However, as with all leather goods — shoes, handbags, and the like — the lifespan of a leather strap depends on its usage conditions. In particular, exposure to water, cosmetics, perfume, or perspiration will accelerate aging. Avoiding these conditions as much as possible during daily wear will help keep both your timepiece and its leather strap looking their best for years to come.

Chemicals
Avoid direct contact with chemicals such as solvents, cleaning agents, perfumes, and cosmetics. These substances can corrode the case, bracelet, and waterproof gaskets, leading to damage or accelerated deterioration.

Repairs
Should any issue arise during wear, please contact our after-sales service for professional assistance. Never allow unauthorized personnel to open the watch; doing so will void the warranty.

Winding
When not wearing your mechanical timepiece, please ensure it is wound at least once a month. This helps slow the aging of the oils and lubricants.

Cleaning
To keep your watch in optimal condition, attention to cleanliness during daily wear is essential. Use a slightly damp, soft cloth to wipe away perspiration and fingerprints from the watch surface. After swimming in seawater (salt water), always rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.

Magnetic
FieldsMagnetic fields can affect the timekeeping of a mechanical watch. Avoid placing your watch near common magnetic sources encountered in daily life, such as microwave ovens, televisions, speakers, or magnetic clasps on handbags.

Storage
When not wearing your watch, it is recommended to store it in its box in a cool, dry place. If you own multiple watches, please store them separately to prevent scratches.

Impacts
Avoid vibrations, impacts (for example, do not wear the watch while playing golf, tennis, or mountain biking), and extreme temperatures (above 60°C or below 0°C).
